What a beautiful day, sunny and pleasant weather. Christina, Lindsay, Claire and I met at the Parc Centre at 1 pm. After a brief explanation of the exercise, I gave them each a Drift-Walk booklet. We decided to walk together to the view point opening to Fraser river at the South end of the parc, just out of Sword Fern trail. It took us an about 45 minutes to get there from Parc Centre. Then, we splited and started the Drift-Walk exercise. We then met 45 minutes later at the intersection of Imperial and Salal trails, on a small bridge over Cutthroat Creek. We walked back to the centre and arrived at 3:30 pm. Then, Christina, Lindsay and Claire gave me their booklets. The beauty of the forest amazed us all and the fact that this parc is so accessible and safe is such a great feature.
I propose leading the next Drift-Walk there again. This time, we will start the exercise at the intersection point of trails nb 12 and 21. I think it would better in terms of time management. It should take the group about 30 minutes to get to the starting point, we could then have more time to do the exercise, talk and walk back.
Notes from Claire, about a sound:
Overwhelming sensation - dominates. When it leaves, there is a quiet then a slow awareness of other sounds/movements.
No related to usual breath - but changes the breath.
